Good, now that we are on the same page let me tell you what mistakes I made and I how I learned from those mistakes — the hard way. Here are the common mistakes people make ( and that I made in the beginning of a sciatica treatment plan using sciatica exercises):
- Thinking that sciatica exercises to relieve pain and/or sciatica stretches will cure your sciatica nerve pain or Piriformis syndrome. WRONG!
- Thinking that going to a chiropractor to learn how to perform sciatica exercises and sciatica stretches, will cure your pain. WRONG!
- Thinking that taking your doctor prescribed drug medication will rid yourself of that debilitating pain. WRONG!
- Thinking that permanent sciatic nerve pain relief is just one good surgical procedure away. WRONG!
- Thinking that doctor prescribed physical therapy will cure your pain, eventually. WRONG!
- Thinking that a special diet will help cure your pain. WRONG!
Why don’t these approaches work? Well, to be honest, all 6 approaches ( or as I like to call them, misnomers) above do provide some temporary relief, from a few hours to a few days. Similar to taking pain medication, like Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen or aspirin. They provide temporary relief but they don’t cure your ailment. For example, after doing sciatica exercises and sciatica stretches, I noticed some pain relief for a day or 2. But I noticed the pain returned worse every time thereafter. Maybe I did the sciatica exercises wrong? Maybe, but its hard to be sure, next? The chiropractor visit gave me relief only the day of the visit, the day after, the pain returned. For doctor prescribed drugs, I noticed some of the side effects were possible liver damage and/or kidney failure, so that frightened the hell out of me since toxic drugs is NOT my kind of thing. Even so, like all prescription drugs, your body gets used to them, then after you stop taking them, the pain returns. My doctor recommended surgery followed by some “safe” different sciatica exercises, however, like all surgery, there are risks involved, and my doctor couldn’t guarantee that I would be 100% cured after the surgery. Physical therapy and diet never worked for me, either. You see, none of the above approaches never really excited me, for the obvious reasons I gave, but also, because they are just temporary relief. I want permanent relief! Is that asking too much!? So what did I do? Before I tried any more sciatica exercises, I bought an e-book, that was recommended to me by a Naturopathic specialist.

Its just incredible that all this time (12 years of sciatica nerve pain) I have been doing sciatica exercises to relieve pain but the sciatica pain just gets worse and worse, then I tried the 8 minute book for 5 days, and wallaaaaa! no pain… at all. wish i could have known about this book years ago
Not sure how to say this. But am grateful for your sciatica ebooks, both are magical. After trying with exercises for 3 years and not working I had to give this a try. Almost to good to be true. But the 8 minute daily procedures gave me a sciatica cure, nothing any chiropractor or drugs ever did. Can’t believe the medical field keeps these techniques away from all of us, I guess they would be “out of business” if they told. Sad!!
Who knows how many ailments and diseases can be cured without surgery, drugs, exercise, etc….? You hit the nail on the head Tom! We are all trained to listen to doctors, and other health specialists for expert guidance, but what would happen to all of them if we all knew how to cure our own ailments…ie. back pain, sciatica pain, arthritis etc.?? Lisa, I think you forget to warn people of the pain that people WILL feel when they are doing sciatica exercises. And unknowingly that they are doing MORE harm as they continue to push through the pain, think the old saying “no pain no gain”. Nothing can be further from the truth! When you get this kind of pain while doing sciatica exercises, even if you get some temporary relief from the pain itself, you are making the problem worse. You are not treating the root cause of the pain. Instead, by pushing through exercises you are reinforcing and strengthening the poor movement habit which causes the sciatica in the first place.
I agree with what you say. Sciatica exercises only alleviate pain temporarily but in the long haul, they make your sciatica pain worse… and even worse…it will NEVER EVER give you a 100% sciatica cure! Thanks for your recommended ebooks!
I am suffering with sciatica pain and and discomfort and all of the 1 – 6 above I have tried and only work for a while. The stretches are fine and then you feel it later. Also, the Chiropractor helps that day and that’s it. Would be interested in knowing more of your method. Thank you so much

Wow! You hit the nail on head with this simple sciatica cure program. We all want a cure, not just temporary relief that the usual doctor prescribed sciatica exercises provide. I just started the book’s specialized techniques last week, and can’t believe the huge difference it brought me… Chinese medicine does indeed work!
Jaime (above 2 posts) is right when he or she said that with sciatica exercises, “YOU ARE NOT TREATING THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PAIN. At first glance the ebook’s suggestion seemed counter-productive, but after I dis what the book says and following the procedures, by sciatica pain is gone

Thanks for the that ebook recommendation Lisa. I was skeptical with all the positive comments I read in your blog, but I still bought the book and Wow! What a difference! After 3 weeks I feel like a new person, without sciatica pain. The ebook does not emphasize too much the technique’s Chinese medicine, however Chinese medicine is the driving factor for the pain cure, IMHO
The methods in Steven Guo’s ebook are 100% Chinese medicine that works. I decided to give the ebook a try but my expectations were low. Nothing has worked for me in the past until now. I am pain free for 2 months now so its safe to say that the relief is permanent – a cure. Lisa you saved me a ton of money from my chiropractor . Now my chiropractor is $400 poorer every month because I don’t need to visit him on the first and 3rd weeks of every month any more.

Don’t know why more doctors don’t recommend these natural or Chinese Medicine cures. Skeptical as usual, I bought the “Stop Sciatica in 8 minutes” ebook everyone is talking about. My skepticism turned into astonishment that after just 11 days of doing these treatments my sciatica pain was gone!! These procedures actually cure the sciatica, unlike other methods, like exercises, stretches, and chiropractor visits that only relieve the pain BUT DON’t CURE…– BIG difference!!!.. so glad I found this blog
